When Alyssa reached out to me interested in my availability for her wedding, I was excited! However when I double checked my dates I realized that I was already booked on her wedding day. I was disappointed because she’s best friends with my hairdresser, And I don’t think I need to explain the kind of relationship I have with my hairdresser. She’s amazing, and I would love the opportunity to photograph a wedding that she was standing up in – Because you know the people are going to be just as cool as she is! So I sent her back a reply and gave her a few names of people to check into and felt so bummed that I wasn’t going to be able to work with them.
Fast forward to this fall and Chanelle (my amazing hairdresser!) Said that she wanted to buy Alyssa and Zach a gift certificate for a spark session. She said that it was very important to both of them that they had a Spark Session at Quabbin reservoir because that’s where they got engaged. Now obviously I fell in love with this because I grew up in Belchertown and would spend many days there instead of in school where I was supposed to be. (Whoops!) I finally got the chance to work with this wonderful couple and photograph them and place that meant so much them. I took them to all my favorite spotsAnd we were blessed with the most amazing sky at the end of the shoot. It looked like it had been painted just for them. It was a remarkable way of ending such a wonderful shoot in place that means so much to them.
Here are my favorites from their beautiful Spark session!
I loved being able to work with you both!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
